Blondie—the very first wine produced at our Texas vineyards.
This spectacular Blanc Du Bois won the gold among 72 other wines in the WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competition. Since then, Blondie retains a consistency and flavor that even “red wine only” customers enjoy.
This dry white wine is refreshingly crisp, citrusy and smooth, perfect at lunch with strawberry salad and braised chicken on pita. It is a great example of East Texas’ ability to produce a high quality dry white wine, particularly the Blanc Du Bois variety.
Blondie is named after our six beautiful blonde ladies in our family. The straw color of the wine reminded us of their hair especially when they were younger. Thus the name was born.
